Andrew Ross (Professor of Social and Cultural Analysis at NYU, and a Nation contributor) examines Phoenix, AZ, one of the fastest growing and least sustainable metropolitan regions: a city in the bull’s eye of global warming. Ross contends that if we can’t change the game in fast-growing, low-density cities like Phoenix, the whole movement has a major problem, and argues that solutions will come through political and social change rather than technological fixes. Ross is Author of "Bird on Fire". Thanks to Seattle Town Hall and Elliott Bay Book Company
